Job Summary
The Construction Inspector role requires extensive experience in construction inspection procedures, with primary responsibilities including Quality Assurance monitoring, inspection for compliance with plans and specifications, and reporting safety hazards. Candidates must possess four years of inspection experience and a current HAZWOPER Certification. This position involves full-time work with potential for early morning, late-night, and weekend shifts, as well as physically demanding conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of verifiable full-time experience in construction inspection work
- Current HAZWOPER Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of construction management
- Knowledge of research techniques and reporting
- Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
- Knowledge of construction materials necessary to determine quality and correct use
- Safe working habits and regulations in relation to construction and excavation code enforcement
