Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 2 years of roadway related experience or equivalency
- Basic proficiency of highway construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and specifications
- Proficiency in using computers and office equipment for documentation and reporting
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Prior experience on large-scale transportation infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with GDOT standards and procedures
- Proficient communication skills - written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical training in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
- Certifications from technical organizations such as American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) inspection certifications
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work in various field conditions including heights, live traffic, water proximity, and adverse weather.
