Construction Inspections Supervisor - City

This role provides strategic leadership, coordination, and operational oversight of the Construction Inspections Section to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely inspections of private development in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Responsibilities include supervising Construction Inspections staff, developing staff competency, enforcing uniform code enforcement across inspection activities, interpreting ICC building/mechanical/electrical/plumbing codes, coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, resolving complex inspection issues, conducting site visits, managing relationships with external agencies and vendors, supporting city growth through safe and timely inspection services, participating in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Board of Appeals and Building Code Commission activities, preparing budgets and bids, monitoring expenditures, implementing process improvements, and performing other duties as assigned.
