Job Summary
Conduct field inspection services including density testing with nuclear gauges, fresh grout and concrete sampling, shotcrete testing, and coring. Perform laboratory geotechnical materials testing such as Atterbergs, proctors, and sieve analysis while managing data, equipment maintenance, and sample organization. Communicate with contractors regarding test results and prepare daily field inspection reports documenting project activities. Confer with supervisors on plan preparation, acceptance testing, and field condition evaluations. Requires a valid Class D driver's license, 75%+ travel, and M-F schedule with occasional weekend work and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with no driving restriction in place
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Must be able to complete basic computer tasks that include Excel, Microsoft Word
- Must be available for weekend work
