Construction General Labourer

Job Summary
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Construction Labourer is responsible for the maintenance and appearance of our homes, job sites and community. Responsibilities include assisting in quality control of all homes constructed in a project, adherence to building code and corporate safety requirements on all sites, general labour functions such as site clean-up and maintenance, assisting in performing touch ups and repairs on sub-trade deficiencies, assisting in minor carpentry work throughout the entire home building process, proficient use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, screw gun, and experience or willingness to be trained on skid steer loader or equipment operation. Other tasks as required by the site foreman.
Required Qualifications
- Prior building construction experience is required
- Safety training an asset
- Completion of high school diploma is an asset
- Team contributor and willingness to learn
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license to get to the project site
