Job Summary
Construction Foreman responsible for managing earthwork and overseeing pipe crews on a Fallon, NV project. Key duties include coordinating with the General Superintendent to meet schedule, assuming supervision and accountability for field operations (daily production, cost, safety, organization, labor, and equipment scheduling), and managing subcontractors. Must have strong experience with Sanitary Sewer, Waterline, Reclaim and Storm installations. Roles include planning projects with Project Superintendent/Manager and Logistics Coordinator, approving work via inspections, enforcing codes and OSHA standards, maintaining a safe work environment, and effectively communicating with customers and team members. Required qualifications emphasize experience as a Foreman in pipe/utilities, ability to prepare work plans, leadership of crews and subcontractors, thorough knowledge of plans/specifications/OSHA safety, proficiency with lasers/line-and-grade/dewatering, and validated driving record with successful pre-employment drug/alcohol screening. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreman in Pipe and Utilities
- Preparing work plans
- Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees
- Scheduling and Directing work crews and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of plans and specifications, OSHA Requirements, Safety Protocol
- Proficient skills with lasers, line and grade, deep excavation and dewatering
- Computer skills, strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details
- Must have a clean driving record and the ability to be insured to operate company vehicles
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
