Job Summary
Lead field crews on-site to install commercial playground equipment and related site features across New England, directing daily/weekly work plans, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with manufacturer specs and project drawings. Responsibilities include operating equipment (e.g., mini excavators, skid steers), coordinating with contractors and project managers, maintaining daily reports, running weekly safety meetings, and providing hands-on guidance. Requires 5+ years in playground installation or related construction, reading drawings, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to travel/overnight as needed. Opportunities for advancement and growth, with year-round work and winter snow-operational duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of playground installation or closely related construction experience
- Experience with playground systems such as LSI, GameTime, Kompan, or similar is a strong plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and grading plans
- Comfortable using mobile job management tools
- Strong communication skills with clients, contractors, and crews
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight for 5+ days when needed
