Job Summary
Foreman provides front-line supervision and coordination of installation services within a data center environment, leading field execution for installation scopes (racks, containment, and pathway systems), ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment. Responsibilities include direct supervision of installation activities, coordinating with field teams, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, ordering materials, initiating RFIs, assisting with layout and logistics, supporting punch lists and closeout, maintaining QA/QC checklists, coordinating with the Superintendent, enforcing site safety, and providing leadership to installation crews. Must have strong communication and organizational skills and experience supervising crews in data center installations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data center installation or skilled trades
- OSHA Training Certification required
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- High School diploma or GED required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field execution
- Ability to supervise crews and coordinate daily workflow
- Working knowledge of QA/QC and construction safety requirements
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
