Job Summary
Construction Field Inspectors across Jr., Mid & Sr. levels are responsible for inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications; they review mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems, identify deviations, prepare detailed inspection reports, ensure quality standards, interpret blueprints and construction documents, and collaborate with project teams including project managers and contractors. Ideal candidates have knowledge of construction codes, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, the ability to work independently or in teams, and proficiency with inspection tools and software. Roles require night shifts and weekend work; Maryland experience is preferred; degree requirement includes High School Diploma with preferredBachelor’s degree in related fields; ICC/NICET certifications are highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management preferred
- Certifications such as ICC, NICET highly desirable
- 1+ years, 8+ years, and 15+ years of relevant experience could be considered (as ranges)
- Experience in Maryland preferred
