Job Summary
Oversee total construction efforts for multiple projects to ensure adherence to design, budget, and schedule. Manage project team performance through accountability in safety, quality, and the Caddell Way. Plan, organize, and participate in recruitment for key office and field positions. Assist with interface and problem resolution regarding owners, A/E representatives, or subcontractors. Maintain official project logs and documentation files while implementing safety programs. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions. Oversee project mobilization, demobilization, and financial status reporting. Participate in client pursuits, project bids, and preconstruction efforts as directed by executive management. Full-time role with travel required; subject to various domestic locations, hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma/GED
- 15 years' experience as a project manager
- Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred
- Excellent technical and management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of all applicable Caddell processes and procedures
- Strong client relations skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Deep understanding of the Caddell way
- Ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs
- Ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights
- Ability to talk, hear and occasionally sit
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred
