Job Summary
Review and evaluate project plans, specifications, and scopes to develop precise cost estimates for construction projects. Calculate and analyze material, labor, and subcontractor expenses while preparing detailed, competitive bids and presenting proposals to clients. Foster client relationships by addressing inquiries promptly and collaborating with project managers to ensure smooth transitions and successful handoffs. Manage project details efficiently with a focus on accuracy and market trends. This role supports Waterton Construction's premier hardscape and land development work in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record managing $20 million to $40 million annually in construction estimating
- Strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities to manage project details efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to maintain accuracy in estimating and administrative work
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and keyboarding
- Dallas, TX (Local Commute/Onsite Required)
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in construction estimating with a focus on hardscape or commercial projects
- Experience with project management software and advanced estimating tools
