Job Summary
Establish customer relationships and educate clients on the construction process to understand desired upgrades. Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to create accurate sketches and initial scopes of work. Assemble well-organized estimates by working with external resources like structural engineers and electrical inspectors. Deliver finalized estimates to the Construction Manager while recognizing project constraints and needed upgrades. Manage bid pricing in collaboration with the Construction Manager. This full-time role at Next Level Contracting DBA Servpro of Puyallup requires 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday hours, with occasional on-call and weekend work. XactimateTM software experience and 1–3 years in construction estimating or insurance adjusting are required.
Required Qualifications
- XactimateTM estimating software experience
- 1-3 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience
- Superb customer service track record
- Effective written and oral communication
- Advanced math skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team Player
- Must have a good driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a Servpro required background check
- Full-time employment availability
- Monday–Friday schedule availability
- 40 hours per week availability
- Occasional on-call availability
- Occasional weekend work availability
- Walking and/or standing throughout the day capability
- Frequent driving capability
- Sitting capability
- Occasionally climbing ladders capability
