Job Summary
Construction Estimator responsible for bid preparation, material and labor assessment, vendor and subcontractor relations, cost analysis, budget development, and risk assessment. Uses estimating software to prepare competitive bids, reviews project specifications and blueprints, analyzes market conditions, collaborates with project managers, engineers, and architects, and ensures accurate cost data and documentation throughout the estimating process. Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator
- Analytical and mathematical skills for cost calculations and data analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing project documentation and preparing estimates
