Job Summary
Develop and execute detailed proposals for complex construction projects by conducting accurate quantity surveys and analyzing subcontractor and vendor bids. Clarify scope gaps in quotes, determine optimal work combinations, and coordinate bid requirements with design elements to produce competitive proposals. Create crew production plans, project durations, and conceptual budgets using historical data and limited information. Mentor direct reports, recommend efficiency improvements, and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and engineers. Read project specifications and drawings to perform basic risk analysis while responding quickly to changing workflows. Coordinate all duties from start to finish with minimal oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management/ engineering or equivalent
- Must have strong computer skills and be well versed in Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Estimating Extended (Timberline), Procore, and On-Screen Takeoff
- Must possess sound organizational and time management skills
- Some travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Design/Build Delivery
- Experience with commercial, medical, food service, new and renovation, and design/build and conceptual estimating
