Job Summary
Senior Estimator role on-site for BUILD IT By Design. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing quotes and design proposals, analyzing tender drawings and specifications, coordinating with the project management team, identifying qualified subcontractors, soliciting competitive pricing, attending on-site pre-bid/proposal activities, and presenting cost estimates to management. Requires estimating experience (5-8+ years), familiarity with ground-up construction, and proficiency with Planswift/Procore; strong communication and detail orientation are essential. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of estimating experience in construction
- Experience in estimating and bidding for general contract work
- Experience in ground-up construction estimation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software such as Planswift and Procore
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
