Job Summary
Review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects by gathering, calculating, and compiling take-off data for use in bid proposal estimates. Prepare routine and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the manager while maintaining current supplier and subcontractor pricing information. Utilize standard estimate computer software to present information to management and demonstrate role model behaviors regarding ethics and integrity. Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off and Microsoft Office Suite is required. This role works in an indoor office environment for BrightView Landscapes, LLC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in the landscaping industry, with estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects
- Experience with HCSS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur
