Construction Estimator responsible for developing comprehensive cost estimates for electrical construction projects (solar, natural gas, turbines, reciprocating engines) from concept to final construction; prepare accurate bids considering material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs; perform quantity take-offs using estimation software; collaborate with engineering/project management to identify cost savings via value engineering; assess cost, schedule, and scope risks; assist in budget control by monitoring costs and variances; maintain project documentation and participate in pre-bid and project reviews; requires 5+ years in construction estimation with at least 2 years in electrical projects in power generation; proficiency with estimating software (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam).
Required Qualifications
- Certification in Construction Estimating or Cost Engineering preferred.
