Job Summary
Repair and adjust gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, drive trains, electrical systems, and A/C. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs to construction equipment while completing reports, work orders, and administrative duties. Operate and maintain the service truck, coordinate repair schedules, and order parts as required. Must have at least three years of proven experience in diesel mechanics and maintenance of construction equipment. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions is required.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 years of proven experience in diesel mechanics and maintenance of construction equipment
- Must Provide own tools besides specialty tools like a welder, compressor, etc...
- Current Driver's License
- Must be open to some out-of-town traveling
- Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required
Desired Qualifications
- Valid CDL a plus
- OSHA Certification a plus
- Forklift Certification a plus
- ASE Certification a plus
