Job Summary
EHS Manager – Construction Safety leads environmental, health, and safety programs across large-scale construction projects in Castel Guelfo, Italy. Responsibilities include implementing and improving construction safety programs, supervising site safety professionals, partnering with project leaders and contractors to integrate safety into project execution, conducting safety audits and incident investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA and local regulations), developing safety training and JHAs, and tracking safety metrics for leadership reporting. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 8–10 years of construction safety experience with at least 3 years in leadership, Nebosh or equivalent construction certification, and STS-C or CHST certification (or to be obtained within 90 days). Travel is expected (35-50%).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 8–10 years of construction safety experience, including 3+ years in leadership/supervision
- Experience managing safety programs within complex construction environments
- Nebosh or equivalent Construction Certification
- STS-C (Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
