Construction Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead estimating, off-site production, and field engineering for semiconductor high-purity piping and chemical delivery system projects from concept through construction. Conduct project site walks to evaluate scope, constructability, and risks while interpreting P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and engineering drawings. Develop technical solutions that maximize efficiency and manufacturability, partnering with Operations and Executive Leadership to improve project profitability through early planning and optimized off-site manufacturing strategies. Build a high-performing engineering organization capable of supporting rapid company growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in process piping systems including installation and tool hookup
- Extensive knowledge of semiconductor piping specifications
- Extensive knowledge of high-purity materials
- Extensive knowledge of installation methods
- Extensive knowledge of orbital welding practices
- Extensive knowledge of quality requirements
- Extensive knowledge of testing and commissioning
- Strong understanding of P&IDs
- Strong understanding of isometric drawings
- Strong understanding of process flow diagrams
- Strong understanding of construction models/drawings
- Demonstrated experience conducting project site walks and defining project scope
- Significant estimating experience for semiconductor piping projects
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Excellent customer communication and relationship-building skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience improving engineering and estimating processes through automation and technology
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Arizona C-4 (Boilers, Steam fitting & Process Piping) Contractor License or the ability to qualify for a license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience designing and building chemical delivery equipment
- Experience working with OEM equipment manufacturers
- Experience supporting semiconductor fabs and advanced manufacturing facilities
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Bluebeam, or similar engineering software
- PMP certification is a plus
