Job Summary
Construction Engineer II EPC – The Field Engineer II role provides technical engineering information to supervision and crafts to ensure piping and mechanical construction complies with engineering standards, codes, and specifications. Responsibilities include managing one or more technical disciplines related to piping systems and mechanical equipment, reviewing constructability, performing value-engineering, managing RFIs and submittals, preparing Scopes of Work for subcontractors, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, coordinating engineering studies, supporting QA/QC, HSE, and Project Controls, and assisting in turnover packages and mechanical completion activities. Strong emphasis on field inspections, documentation, and adherence to safety and project controls processes. Requires 4+ years of heavy construction experience and a Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent; PE/EIT preferred; ability to work in US on a full-time basis. Full-time role based in New Johnsonville, TN, USA with onsite field activities and potential for collaboration across project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in heavy construction engineering with focus on Civil, Concrete and/or Structural Steel scopes of work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint
