Job Summary
Civil, Concrete, and Structural Steel construction engineering role focused on delivering technical engineering information to supervision and craft teams, ensuring conformance to engineering standards and project codes. Responsibilities include coordinating technical disciplines (Civil, Concrete, Structural Steel), managing drawings and documentation (redlines, As-Built, RFIs, submittals), preparing Scope of Works for subcontractors, evaluating change orders, supporting QA/QC, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and assisting in turnover and close-out with discipline leads and client representatives. Requires strong knowledge of PFDs/P&IDs, isometrics, API/AWS/ACI/ASME standards, and proficiency with project controls tools (MS Project/Primavera).
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering
- MS degree preferred? (optional)
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- 5+ years related engineering experience
- Strong skill set in understanding PFDs and P&IDs; 3D and 2D routing, equipment and piping specifications, and development of isometric drawings
- Knowledge of API, AWS and ACI standards, industry practices and ASME Section VIII is strongly preferred
- Ability to understand client specifications, procurement, commissioning and start-up standards, documentation, practices, vendor data approvals, etc.
- Experience using standard computer programs; MS Project or Primavera preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desirable
