Job Summary
Construction Engineer with a focus on technical approval and inspection of highway improvements within Suffolk County Council's Transport NSIP and Technical Team. Responsibilities include providing technical approval for major infrastructure projects, checking highway designs for compliance with SCC guidance, inspecting road, footway and drainage construction to highway standards, negotiating technical solutions with developers/consultants, applying current legislation and health and safety requirements, recording approval details, and representing SCC in meetings with diverse stakeholders. Required Qualifications
