Job Summary
Manage construction projects for aviation infrastructure, including airport runways and taxiways, by coordinating schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and field operations. Independently perform walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to verify conformance with specifications and design, while conducting material testing and quality assurance checks. Maintain comprehensive on-site documentation, including daily reports and inspection logs, and process Requests for Information and change orders to ensure proper approval workflows. Coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to track progress, monitor milestone achievement, and report budget status to project management. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license and citizenship; on-site documentation and coordination must strictly comply with aviation standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS plus 2 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid U.S Driver's License
- US Citizenship
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
- Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
Desired Qualifications
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and/or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- Current NICET, ICC, MARTCP, or equivalent industry certifications
- Experience managing airport construction projects, including project planning, coordination, scheduling, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication
- Demonstrated project management experience with aviation or airport infrastructure projects
