Job Summary

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform board-level repairs on construction and survey GPS equipment, ensuring all new units are fully functional before deployment through software configuration and firmware installation. Provide front-line customer support for walk-in and phone inquiries, manage equipment logistics, and maintain accurate documentation using MS-Office products. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanic aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment while traveling to meet business demands. Candidates must possess an excellent driving record and be willing to work additional hours as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to install and configure firmware and software
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Basic computer skills for tracking, documentation, and software loading
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced technical environment
  • Must have good troubleshooting skills and have good mechanic aptitude
  • Must be proficient with MS-Office products
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be a self-directed and well organized with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Must have an excellent driving record
  • Must be willing to travel and work additional hours as needed to meet business and customer demands
  • Required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 75 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with GPS, surveying, or construction technology equipment, preferred
