Job Summary
Execute electrical construction programs by installing transformers, VSDs, PLC infrastructure, and flow meters across new wellfields. Oversee commissioning for in-situ leaching operations and manage labour hire resources as required. Conduct routine inspections to implement preventative maintenance and ensure all assets comply with relevant standards. This role operates on an 8:6 FIFO roster from the Adelaide charter terminal, with DIDO from Broken Hill also considered. Applicants must hold an Australian electrical trade qualification, a valid driver's license, and experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
Required Qualifications
- An Australian electrical trade qualification
- A valid Australian driver's license
- Experience in a similar role in mining or a heavy industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience with electrical and basic instrumentation fault-finding and diagnostics on fixed plant equipment
- The abilities to plan, write scopes of work and materials lists
- Experience in Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)
- A sound knowledge and understanding of Work Health & Safety requirements in a mining environment
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships
- A proactive and solutions focused approach
- Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
Desired Qualifications
- A telehandler ticket
- A HV ticket and HV switching experience
- Experience commissioning instrumentation
