Job Summary
Oversee safety performance of general contractors and subcontractors across all construction trades on a live manufacturing construction site. Enforce site-specific safety plans and regulatory requirements; conduct daily site walks, hazard assessments, and safety audits; lead toolbox talks and incident investigations; ensure OSHA, NFPA 70E, and project-specific EHS compliance; act as primary safety point of contact for construction leadership; balance enforcement with coaching. Requires OSHA 500/510, 3+ years construction safety experience, strong electrical safety background, and NFPA 70E knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 500 or 510 certification (minimum requirement)
- 3+ years of construction safety experience
- Strong electrical safety background
- Working knowledge of NFPA 70E
- Experience supporting construction at a live manufacturing facility (highly preferred)
- Comfortable operating as both a safety enforcer and safety coach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to push back on internal stakeholders and contractors when necessary
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
