Job Summary
Technical Drafter responsible for the creation, modification, and comprehensive management of architectural and engineering design packages, while providing ancillary project management support for government facilities initiatives. Requires CAD software proficiency to develop precise construction drawings, site plans, and engineering schematics; thorough archive and document management of historical drawings and blueprints; and project coordination tasks such as tracking schedules, processing RFIs, and reviewing technical submittals. The role is on-site at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ, with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Relocation is limited to local candidates. Competitive salary to be determined based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Citizenship: must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (Active Secret preferred but not required)
- Experience with CAD software for construction drawings, site plans, and schematics
- Archive & document management experience (scanning, indexing, historical drawings, digital records)
- Project coordination experience (RFIs, submittals, schedules)
- Experience in government facilities or construction support is desirable
- On-site work at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ; willingness to work in a government facilities environment
- W2 employee for WisEngineering, LLC; relocation limited to local candidates
