Job Summary
Construction Operations Manager overseeing the entire division including estimating, project management, field operations, purchasing, and sales coordination; takes partial P&L ownership and drives profitability, on-time delivery, and quality. Responsible for standardizing estimating processes, improving bid strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining safety/compliance, and growing the division through client relationships and scalable systems. Leads Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Purchasing, and Sales Manager; targets KPI-driven performance across gross margin, cost variance, schedule adherence, backlog, and revenue growth.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in construction
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role
- Experience managing Project Managers, General Superintendents, Estimators, Cross-functional construction teams
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Deep understanding of estimating, project management, and field operations
- Ability to build and implement systems and processes
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
- Strong communication and client relationship management
