Construction Data Report Manager

Job Summary

Manage all construction data reporting for the 17.75-mile embankment dam, reviewing compaction reports, density testing, and lift documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate with field engineers and quality control teams to maintain records of geotechnical testing and instrumentation data while preparing reports for stakeholders. Support audit and inspection processes to uphold project specifications and regulatory requirements. This role serves as the lead technical authority for construction data documentation on the Central Everglades Planning Project, a $2.87 billion initiative vital to Everglades restoration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering (four-year degree from an accredited university required)
  • Minimum 3 years of embankment dam construction experience
  • Demonstrated experience on at least three (3) embankment dam construction projects
  • Experience managing and reviewing construction data, testing results, and geotechnical documentation
  • Strong understanding of embankment placement, compaction control, instrumentation monitoring, and quality assurance processes
  • Ability to work full-time on-site and be solely assigned to this role
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience on USACE or other federal water infrastructure projects
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with construction management and reporting software
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
