Construction Cost Controls Manager - Data Center Owners Rep

Job Summary
Owner’s Rep for design/build oversight of a data-center construction project seeks a Cost Controls Project Manager. You’ll oversee cost control, forecasting, change management, scheduling, reporting, and earned value management across multiple data-center builds, lead project-controls teams, drive data-driven decisions, and maintain documentation and stakeholder communications. Requirements include 5+ years in project controls on data-center/critical-facilities construction, strong proficiency with MS Project/Primavera/P6, Excel, and related tools, ability to travel to sites, and experience with AIA billings and forms. Military experience with electrical/mechanical backgrounds and PMP/SP credentials are highly valued pluses.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years managing project controls on data center/critical facilities construction projects as an owner or general contractor on large commercial projects
- BA/BS/Associates Degree/Relevant Certifications (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering) a plus but not required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-Scheduling Professional (SP) a plus
- Previous experience with AIA billings and forms
- Effective communicator via email, phone, and in-person
- Ability to work independently; self-starter, self-motivated, attention to detail, taskmaster, problem solver, and effective with time management
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Strong administrative skills
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Teams, Oracle Primavera P6, Salesforce, Google G-Suite, and ConEst a plus
- Strong math skills
- Client-facing skills and leadership abilities
- Military experience or veterans with electrical/mechanical experience a huge plus (e.g., Navy nukes, Seabees, Army power generation, Air Force power production, generator techs, maritime, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, etc.)
