Job Summary
Construction Coordinator responsible for end-to-end fiber construction projects (residential and commercial) from field surveys through closeout, including permitting, BOM development, NTP packages, subcontractor oversight, quality control, and as-built verification. Ensures work meets design specifications and OSHA standards, delivers on schedule and budget, and coordinates with customers and internal teams; requires strong field presence, cross-functional collaboration, and troubleshooting to protect timelines and service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of telecommunications construction experience
- High school diploma required
- Two-year degree preferred
- Experience with walk-out surveys, design, budgeting, and BOMs including GPON
- Experience managing contractor relationships and coordinating multi-site construction projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn Vetro
- Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training such as NCTI, SCTE, or BCT/E preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clear MVR, auto insurance, and ability to drive in nighttime/adverse weather
- Availability for 24/7 operation including emergencies, overtime, and weekends
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, climb ladders up to 28 feet, and work in adverse weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
