Job Summary
Construction Coordinator responsible for field supervision of outsourced fiber optic network construction in the Fort Wayne region, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while complying with regulatory requirements. Acts as the face of Mercury Broadband for field coordination with contractor teams; tracks performance, conducts site walkouts, supports permitting and pre-construction activities, communicates project updates to leadership, reconciles invoices, ensures regulatory compliance, identifies risks, maintains documentation, and coordinates with internal teams to finalize project closeout packages.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in fiber optic network construction supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate independently and coordinate with external contractors to conduct and document site inspections accurately
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local construction regulations
- Proficiency with project management software, Vitruvi preferred
- Knowledge of quality assurance and contractor performance monitoring
