Job Summary
Construction Controller responsible for end-to-end financial management of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting. Collaborates with project managers to develop and update budgets, analyzes financial data, prepares reports for stakeholders, and ensures adherence to accounting standards and risk controls. Manages vendor relationships, reviews invoices for accuracy, and drives continuous improvement in financial management practices to enhance project profitability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience with 2+ years in real estate development or construction
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost control techniques
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and financial modeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems
