Job Summary
Construction Contracts Manager for ASU's Facilities Development and Management – Capital Planning Services. Responsible for centralized contract administration and training across delivery methods (Design Professional, CM@Risk, Design Build, and Job Order Contracting). Develop and administer contracts to ensure compliance with ABOR, federal, state, and university policies; support procurement activities; prepare training materials; coordinate with legal, procurement, and project teams; assist with contract templates, audits, and performance monitoring; contribute to budgeting and staffing decisions for architecture/engineering projects. Located at the Tempe campus with potential work from other campuses as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience/training; legal work eligibility in the United States; driving is required; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; salary range $80,000–$90,000; comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Facilities Development and Management, Capital Planning Services role located at Tempe campus.
- ASU requires current eligibility to legally work in the United States; ASU will not sponsor for this position.
- Contract development for new construction or capital renovation projects; effective negotiations and conflict resolution; interpreting contract terminology, writing, revising, and monitoring contracts; MS Office
