Construction Civil Engineer

Monitor contractors' civil engineering work for compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and approved drawings. Oversee foundation, main structure, final acceptance, and warranty organization while ensuring adherence to EH&S/QA/QC requirements, engineering specifications, codes, and government regulations. Coordinate resolution of all RFI's and field changes with Field Engineers and Contracts Administrator, and maintain daily electronic logs of pertinent events, progress, and quantities installed. Confirm validity of field changes prior to contract adjustments and manage overall coordination of contractor activities against the construction schedule and budget. Handover project documentation to property management and coordinate repair work until the defect liability period ends.
