Job Summary
Carpenter responsible for renovating occupied and unoccupied apartment units across the Midwest, performing framing, cabinet installation, drywall, trim, fixtures, and basic plumbing/electrical work. Must read blueprints, design and install cabinets and fittings, source lumber, and coordinate with clients and construction professionals. Regular travel to project sites with potential overnight stays; maintain tools and equipment; work in adverse weather; communicate professionally and uphold company values.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Strong mechanical skills and physical stamina
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 100 lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Read blueprints and designs to work to specifications
- Experience with framing and installing cabinets
- Experience with drywall and insulation
- Install basic plumbing fixtures
- Install basic electrical fixtures
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other construction professionals
