Job Summary
The Construction Audit Specialist evaluates financial and operational integrity of engineering and construction projects by reviewing project budgets, contracts, invoices, and expenditures. The role requires conducting financial audits, verifying compliance with contractual agreements and industry standards, analyzing cost estimates, and ensuring the accuracy of construction pay estimates. The specialist will identify discrepancies, provide recommendations for cost management and operational efficiency, and prepare detailed audit reports. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with enterprise systems, and the ability to address complex business problems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Construction Management, or Engineering
- Two years of experience performing reviews of construction related activities and functions such as contracting, procurement, project management, billings and payments, and project closeout.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
