Job Summary
Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction work activities, employees, and subcontractors on projects located in San Diego County. Manage scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all construction phases to safely produce quality work within targeted budget, schedule, and project requirements. Ensure all work aligns with RFP, plans, specifications, proposal documents, and RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Maintain access to military installations for all assigned projects. This role supports fast-track new commercial construction for public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three or more years work experience in a lead Foreman position
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet)
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- OSHA 30-hour Certification
- EM-385 certification
- STS certification
- U.S. work authorization
- Successful completion of a drug screening
- Successful completion of a commercial criminal background check
- Successful completion of a Department of Defense background check
Desired Qualifications
- College courses in construction management, engineering
- Three or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in the construction industry
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience
- Work in the design-build industry
- Specific software literacy (Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit)
- LEED GA Credential
