Job Summary
The Construction Assistant Project Manager will assist Project Managers with project coordination, manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation, and track project budgets and schedules. This hands-on role involves coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, participating in project meetings, and utilizing construction management software. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and field experience on active construction projects are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 1–4 years of experience in construction project coordination, field engineering, or a related construction role
- Field experience on active construction projects is required
- Basic understanding of construction processes, jobsite operations, and project scheduling
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager leadership role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
