Job Summary
Coordinate schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and field operations for commercial construction projects in Norfolk, Virginia from preconstruction through closeout. Depending on project size, support larger initiatives, oversee specific scopes, or manage your own small- to medium-sized projects alongside experienced Project Managers. Maintain strong organizational and communication skills while utilizing Primavera P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit to drive complex, fast-track project delivery. OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications are required, with training available if needed. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, while qualified out-of-area applicants may be eligible for relocation assistance or per diem based on project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of construction industry experience preferred
- At least 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid certifications (training available if needed)
- All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
- All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is a plus
- LEED Green Associate and QCM certifications are a plus
