Job Summary
Construction Assistant Project Manager responsible for supporting the construction team with daily project coordination, communicating expectations to subcontractors and staff regarding schedules, construction methods, permits, safety, and quality; procuring materials and equipment; collaborating with architects and engineers; reviewing progress and cost reports; ensuring site safety and secure assets; assisting in pre-construction, estimation, and monthly draws; maintaining Procore site including submittals, RFIs, and change orders; providing drawing updates and maintaining documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with construction project coordination
- Procore or similar construction PM software experience
- Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and engineers
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to assist in project estimation and pre-construction activities
- Familiarity with procurement, cost reporting, and monthly draws
- Experience in maintaining project documentation and meeting minutes
- Understanding of safety, quality control, and sustainability in construction
- Ability to manage submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders
- Experience with drawing updates and O&M documentation
