Job Summary
Assistant Project Manager for energy, utility, data center and industrial projects across New York and the Northeast. Responsibilities include project management support from concept through close-out, managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, health, safety, and environmental governance, coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering/design teams, permitting, and construction-phase services, supporting contract strategy and administration, subcontractor management, procurement support and invoicing, and delivering high-quality client deliverables and stakeholder communications. Requires collaboration with owners, subconsultants, and vendors; emphasis on safety culture and proactive project controls.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, or a minimum of 5-years of related experience
- Demonstrated success delivering energy, utility, or infrastructure projects in a consulting/engineering environment
- Strong project controls capability (schedule, cost, risk, change management)
- Scheduling knowledge utilizing MS Project or Primavera P6
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Familiarity with BIM or digital collaboration tools (e.g. Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore) is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability
- Certifications (Desirable) OSHA 30-Hour (Construction), First Aid/CPR
