Job Summary
Construction Assistant Project Manager supports general contractor team in managing healthcare, financial services, and light-industrial construction projects from inception to close-out. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, managing project documents and schedules, assisting with cost control, procurement, permits, LEED tracking, and close-out activities. Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), at least 2 years of commercial construction experience, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office, blueprint reading, knowledge of building codes and safety standards, strong leadership and communication skills, and must be able to travel up to 25% to various job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Proficient with technology
- Ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of construction process
- Travel up to 25%
