Construction Area Manager

Job Summary
Oversee all construction field and office operations for the assigned area, assigning work orders via Dynamics and Skedulo, and dispatching subcontractors based on project requirements. Manage subcontractor payroll, enforce safety policies, and conduct daily safety tickets while issuing chargebacks for violations or quality deficiencies. Build strong relationships with builders by attending on-site meetings, visiting communities weekly, and documenting all interactions within Dynamics. Complete a minimum of 3-5 work orders daily, deliver short materials to job sites, and resolve material shortages or model discrepancies with corporate staff. Maintain accurate records of truck stock, safety, and quality chargebacks, and provide regular performance reports to management. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar leadership role
- Weekend and Holiday work
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, safety standards, and quality control
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools, including Dynamics and Skedulo
- Experience with safety and quality enforcement, including managing chargebacks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Experience with payroll management, subcontractor coordination, and customer relationship management
- Ability to resolve conflicts and handle escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area
