Job Summary
Conduct rough carpentry, framing, roofing, and finish work including drywall, flooring, and decorative concrete. Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators for excavation, trenching, grading, and road building. Work alongside experienced carpenters on real projects while learning carpentry skills under direct instruction. Complete OSHA-10 certification and ongoing continuing education courses. Maintain a valid driver's license and lift 50+ pounds regularly. Join a locally owned general contractor in Interior Alaska with opportunities for advancement to Journeyman status, crew leadership, and performance-based wage increases.
