Job Summary
Manage and maintain the company's online Plan Room and bid document repository by uploading plans, specifications, addenda, and bid tabulations via FTP software. Coordinate with project engineers to update Project Bid Information forms, assist in selecting bid items and drawings, and assemble the base bid/contract book including contract forms and special funding requirements. Process pay requests and change orders through agencies such as OEPA, OWDA, and OPWC while reviewing funding agreements to identify compliance deadlines. Assist with clerical aspects of addendum preparation and dissemination during the bidding period. Requires an associate or bachelor's degree in construction engineering or related fields, two years of experience with public construction bidding processes, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Salary starts at $32.00 per hour with flexible work options and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with public construction bidding processes, including advertisements for bids, plans and specifications, addenda, bid document distribution, and contractor procurement procedures
- Experience administering online document repositories, plan rooms, or similar construction-related platforms
- Strong understanding of electronic document management and file organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent construction industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
