Job Summary

Construction Administrator for a federal project responsible for document control, federal compliance, meeting administration, and financial closeout tasks. The role connects project managers, subcontractors, and federal stakeholders to ensure all administrative requirements are met. Requires proven construction administration experience and either a bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 3 years in construction administration, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 7–10 years of progressive construction administration experience. Key duties include managing submittals, RFIs, change orders, ASIs; supporting Davis-Bacon certified payroll tracking and compliance; scheduling meetings and drafting minutes; reviewing subcontractor invoices and lien waivers; and organizing final closeout manuals and as-built drawings. Preferred federal experience with agencies such as USACE, NAVFAC, or GSA and familiarity with RMS or e-Builder; strong software skills (Procore, Newforma, Microsoft Office 365) and excellent communication; must be a U.S. citizen capable of federal background checks for base or facility access.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field AND minimum of three (3) years of dedicated construction administration experience
  • High School Diploma / Equivalent AND seven to ten (7-10) years of progressive, hands-on construction administration experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of passing a federal background check/security screening to obtain base or facility access
  • Experience with federal contracting agencies (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, GSA) and familiarity with RMS or e-Builder is a major plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Newforma)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface professionally with federal representatives
  • Federal project familiarity and ability to manage documentation, compliance, and administrative workflows
