Job Summary
Construction Administrator needed for a design-focused architecture firm to support large, complex commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects. Serve as the bridge between design intent and construction reality, representing the design team and owner during construction, attending key meetings, and conducting site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance. Key duties include coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders; reviewing RFIs and submittals; managing multiple active projects across varying stages; and helping maintain schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Proficiency with Bluebeam and Revit is a bonus. Travel within the Midwest (mostly day travel with occasional overnight trips) is required. This is a direct-hire, hybrid role based in Saint Paul, MN or Madison, WI.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in construction administration, architecture, or related field
- Experience working on complex commercial or institutional projects
- Background in an architectural or consulting environment strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and field coordination
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Revit is a bonus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel within the Midwest; mostly day travel with occasional overnight trips
