Job Summary
Construction Administrator responsible for site observations during construction, reviewing contract documents with contractors, coordinating schedules with Project Managers and design engineers, preparing reports and close-out documents, attending progress meetings, and ensuring progress and quality align with contract documents. Requires strong communication skills, knowledge of construction methods and design documents, ability to review payments, coordinate with architects/engineers, and use MS Office. 5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with architectural/engineering design processes are required. The role reports to operations/project management teams and supports multiple design disciplines on building construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, design observation, the trades and/or administration
- Familiarity with design processes and interpretation of architectural and engineering design documents
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of buildings and structures
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
